Description

Sends a message in an existing group chat.

Configuration

• Chat - The ID of the chat. Type up to 3 characters of the exact chat group name (case sensitive) or type a custom chat ID. Dropdown will not retrieve results if the chat group name case sensitivity is not followed.
• Image - Image attachment to be uploaded.
• Message body - The content of the message to be sent.
• Attachment ID - Optionally required, if you are uploading sharepoint content enter the ID of that sharepoint asset.
• Content URL - Optionally required, if you are uploading sharepoint content then add the sharepoint or drive item URL.
• Attachment resource name - Optionally required, if you are uploading sharepoint content enter the name of that sharepoint asset.

You can further configure additional fields for the activity by using the Manage Properties Wizard.

Output

• Message ID - The ID of the message to send a reply to in teams. This can also be retrieved from the output of Send Channel Message activity.
• Messages - The chat messages.
