Generate Email

Description

Enables you to have a draft of an email composed meeting a specific style. You can use this activity for building a marketing campaign, sending out company-wide notifications, community outreach or product launches, etc.

Configuration

  • Connection ID - The connection established in Integration Service. Access the drop-down menu to choose, add, or manage connections.

  • Model name - The large language model (LLM) to use. Defaults to the model with the best observed outputs. This can be changed if desired.
  • Email content - The content to include in the email. This should be all of the things that must be included in the email, such as an unstructured set of points or a list. This field supports String type input.
  • Style - The style of writing to output: Concise, Vivid, Eloquent, Persuasive, Witty, Lyrical, Fluid, Evocative, Sophisticated, Engaging. You can submit a custom input, but it should be an adjective that can be used to describe a style of writing.
  • Output formula - The desired format for the generated email output: plain text or HTML.
Manage Properties

Use the Manage Properties wizard to configure or use any of the object's standard or custom fields. You can select fields to add them to the activity canvas. The added standard or custom fields are available in the Properties panel (in Studio Desktop) or under Show additional options (in Studio Web).

Additional options
  • Total words - Approximate number of words to return. Default value: 50. This field supports Int64 type input.
  • Example - An example of an acceptable output. This field supports String type input.
  • Creativity - The value of the creativity factor or sampling temperature to use. Higher values mean the model will take more risks.
  • Detect language for output - Detect the language input and either return the summary in the same language or a different language. Default value: True. Boolean value.
    • Output language - The language preference for the output if not the same as input. Select a language from the available list or input a custom language if desired. This field is displayed if Detect language for output is set to False.
Output
  • Email - The content of the email after translation. Automatically generated output variable.
