Create Email Campaign

Description

Creates an email campaign's content. Use the Update Campaign activity to assign a target list or segment.

Configuration

Connection ID - The connection established in Integration Service. Access the drop-down menu to choose, add, or manage connections.
Campaign name - The name of the campaign. This field supports String type input.
Format type - The format type of the campaign. Select one of the available options from the drop-down list: LegacyCustomCodeEmailEditor1, NewCustomCodeEmailEditor5.
From email - The sender's email address. You must use a confirmed Constant Contact account email address. This field supports String type input.
From name - The email sender's name to display for the email campaign. This field supports String type input.
Reply to email - The sender's email address to use if the contact replies to the email campaign. You must use a confirmed Constant Contact account email address. This field supports String type input.
Subject - The email subject of the campaign. This field supports String type input.
HTML content - The HTML content for the email campaign. While creating the HTML content, make sure that you include [[trackingImage]] in the <body> element of your HTML. This field supports String type input.

Manage Properties

Use the Manage Properties wizard to configure or use any of the object's standard or custom fields. You can select fields to add them to the activity canvas. The added standard or custom fields are available in the Properties panel (in Studio Desktop) or under Show additional options (in Studio Web).

Additional options

Pre header - The email preheader for the email campaign activity. This field supports String type input.
Organization name - The sender organization's name. This field supports String type input.
Organization address line1 - The sender organization's street address. This field supports String type input.
Organization city - The sender organization’s city. This field supports String type input.
Organization postal code - The sender organization’s postal code. This field supports String type input.
Organization country - The sender organization’s country. This field supports String type input.

Output

Email campaign - Automatically generated output variable.
Campaign activity ID - The campaign activity ID. Automatically generated output variable.
