Create Contact



This activity uses the contact EntityType - POST API to create a contact in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.

  • ConnectionId - The connection established in Integration Service. Access the dropdown menu to choose, add, or manage connections.
  • Last name - The last name of the contact.
  • First name - The first name of the contact.
  • Job title - The job title of the contact.
  • Email address - The email address of the contact.
  • Mobile phone - The mobile phone of the contact.
  • Company - The organization of the contact. Type up to 3 characters of the name or type a custom value to select the associated company/account.

Manage Properties Wizard

The Manage Properties Wizard can be used to configure or use any of the object’s standard or custom fields by selecting and adding them to the activity canvas. The added standard/custom fields are available in the Properties panel (in Studio Desktop) or under Additional options (in Studio Web).



  • Contact role - The code of the account role. Options available in the dropdown menu are: Decision Maker, Employee, Influencer.
  • Address Line 1 - The address of contact.
  • Postal code - The postal code of the contact.
  • City - The city of the contact.
  • Country - Country of the contact.
  • Description - Description of the contact.
  • Manager name - The name of the manager associated with a contact.
  • Contact ID - The unique identifier of the contact.
