Create and Track Anonymous Events

Description

Create and associate/track an event anonymously.

Configuration

  • Connection ID - The connection established in Integration Service. Access the dropdown menu to choose, add, or manage connections.

  • Name - The name of the event. This is how you'll reference the event in campaigns and segments. This field supports String type input.
  • Anonymous ID - A unique identifier for an anonymous event, like a cookie. If set as an attribute or a person, any events bearing the same anonymous value are associated with this person. This field supports String type input.
  • Event type - The event type. Select one of the options from the available dropdown list: Standard event, Page view, Mobile screen view.
  • Date from address - The address you want to trigger messages from, overriding the From field in emails triggered by the event. This field supports String type input.
  • Date reply to - The address that receives replies for the message, if applicable. This field supports String type input.
Manage Properties

Use the Manage Properties wizard to configure or use any of the object's standard or custom fields. You can select fields to add them to the activity canvas. The added standard or custom fields are available in the Properties panel (in Studio Desktop) or under Show additional properties (in Studio Web).
