Description

Transcribes the audio from a media file to text.

Configuration

• Connection ID - The connection established in Integration Service. Access the drop-down menu to choose, add, or manage connections.

• Audio file - The Amazon S3 location of the audio file to converted to speech, e.g., s3://bucket/prefix/file.extention. This field supports String type input.
• Transcription job name - Specifies the name of the transcription job. If the name is not provided, it assigns the name of the file to the job. This field supports String type input.
• Media format - Specifies the format of the media which needs to be transcribed. Select one of the available options from the dropdown list: MP3, MP4, WAV, FLAC, OGG, AMR, WEBM.
• Speech language - The language of the voice expressed as a tag, e.g. en-US. If no language is selected, Amazon Transcribe will try to identify the language automatically. Use the dropdown list to make your selection.

Manage Properties

Use the Manage Properties wizard to configure or use any of the object's standard or custom fields. You can select fields to add them to the activity canvas. The added standard or custom fields are available in the Properties panel (in Studio Desktop) or under Show additional options (in Studio Web).

Additional options

• Sample rate - The sample rate of the audio data, in Hertz. Valid values are: 8000, 16000, 32000, 44100, and 48000. 16000 is the optimal value. This field supports String type input.

Output

• Transcription job - Automatically generated output variable.
• Transcription job name - The transcription job name. Automatically generated output variable.
