Add Comment

Description

Uses the Create Ticket - POST API to adds a basic comment to a ticket in Zendesk.

Configuration

  • Connection ID - The connection established in Integration Service. Access the dropdown menu to choose, add, or manage connections.

  • Ticket ID - The ID of the ticket. Start typing the subject of the ticket to retrieve records. This field supports Int64 type input.
  • Text - The comment string. This field supports String type input.
Manage Properties

Use the Manage Properties wizard to configure or use any of the object's standard or custom fields. You can select fields to add them to the activity canvas. The added standard or custom fields are available in the Properties panel (in Studio Desktop) or under Show additional properties (in Studio Web).

Additional properties
  • Uploads - An array of file tokens to attach to the comment. Use the Upload Attachment activity to upload a file and then use the output file token here. This field supports IResource type input.
  • Public - Set to True if the comment is public and False if it's an internal note.
Output
  • Ticket comment - Automatically generated output variable.
  • Comment ID - The comment's ID. Automatically generated output variable.
