Create Newsletter

Description

Create a newsletter.

Configuration

  • Connection ID - The connection established in Integration Service. Access the drop-down menu to choose, add, or manage connections.

  • From email - Select the sender from the dropdown list or enter a custom email address. This field supports String type input.
  • Subject - The subject of the campaign. This field supports String type input.
  • List - Select the list from the dropdown or enter a custom list ID. This field supports String type input.
  • Type - Select the type of newsletter from the dropdown list. The available options are broadcast (for sending the newsletter) and draft (for simply creating the newsletter). Default value is: broadcast.
  • Content HTML - Enter custom HTML content. If Content HTML is provided, the Content plaintext field is not required. This field supports String type input.
  • Content plaintext - Enter text content. If Content plaintext is provided, the Content HTML field is not required. This field supports String type input.
  • Name - The name of the campaign. This field supports String type input.
  • File - Attachment. This field supports IResource type input.
Manage Properties

Use the Manage Properties wizard to configure or use any of the object's standard or custom fields. You can select fields to add them to the activity canvas. The added standard or custom fields are available in the Properties panel (in Studio Desktop) or under Show additional options (in Studio Web).

Additional options
  • Flags - Select the flag from the dropdown list. The available options are: Openrate, Clicktrack, GoogleAnalytics.
  • Reply to - Select the sender from the dropdown list or enter a custom email address. This field supports String type input.
  • Send on - Schedule the newsletter to a future datetime. Use the calendar widget to select a date. For sending immediately, leave this field blank. This field supports DateTimeOffset type input.
Output
  • Newsletter ID - The newsletter ID. Automatically generated output variable.
