Activities

The following table lists the activities that are included in the Adobe PDF Services Activities Package.

Activity	Description
Compress a PDF	Reduces the file size prior to performing workflow operations that use bandwidth or memory.
Create a PDF from other format	Creates a PDF document from Microsoft Office documents (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) in Adobe PDF Services.
Export a PDF to other formats	Exports a PDF file into a number of supported formats by performing an OCR operation. The supported formats are DOC, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, RTF.
Linearize a PDF	Converts a PDF file to a linearized or web-optimized PDF File.
Create a word or PDF document	Merge the input JSON data with word based templates to create dynamic documents.
Download file	Downloads a file based on the Job ID retrieved from any operation performed above this. The file donwload fails if the upstream Job is not complete and hence it is recommended to use a Delay activity before this download activity to allow the previous job to complete.
Get Record	Retrieves a record from Adobe PDF Services.
