Create and Track Customer Event

Description

Create and associate/track an event to a customer.

Configuration

  • Connection ID - The connection established in Integration Service. Access the dropdown menu to choose, add, or manage connections.

  • Customer - Unique identifier of the customer generated from another system, such as your product or CRM. If such an ID doesn't exist, use an email address instead. This field supports String type input.
  • Name - The name of the event. This is how you'll reference the event in campaigns and segments. This field supports String type input.
  • Event type - The event type. Select one of the options from the available dropdown list: Standard event, Page view, Mobile screen view.
  • Date from address - The address you want to trigger messages from, overriding the From field in emails triggered by the event. This field supports String type input.
  • Date recipient address - The recipient address for an action. This field supports String type input.
  • Date reply to - The address that receives replies for the message, if applicable. This field supports String type input.
Manage Properties

Use the Manage Properties wizard to configure or use any of the object's standard or custom fields. You can select fields to add them to the activity canvas. The added standard or custom fields are available in the Properties panel (in Studio Desktop) or under Show additional properties (in Studio Web).
