The Builds Tab
Introduction
From the Builds tab you can manage and upload builds. Once UiPath releases a new version, it can be uploaded and activated in the Builds tab.
Build Types
There are two different types of builds:
- The Superadmin build is responsible for running the Superadmin page.
-
The Dispatcher build is responsible for selecting the right build for the right task.
(i.e. selecting the correct build for a certain project or the correct build for the Superadmin page).
The Build Package
The build is a .zip
file that contains all files and folders that define the version of the UiPath Process Mining platform that is used to run
and build discovery accelerators, apps, and connectors. For example, UiPathProcessMining-21.4.zip
.
Secure Build Package
Additional to the .zip file, UiPath offers the Process Mining build package as a file signed by UiPath, which is a self-extracting file that contains the .zip
build package. In this case, you download the build.exe
file, for example UiPathProcessMining-21.4.exe
, and run it to obtain the build package that you can upload to the Builds tab.
See also Verifying a signed build in Frequently Asked Questions.
