Analysis - End to End

Introduction

Analysis - End to end is the main dashboard where you can analyze the complete Order-to-Cash process regarding sales order items.

See the illustration below.

KPIs

Below is a description of the KPIs that are displayed at the top of the Analysis - End to end dashboard.

KPI

Description

Variants

The number of various process paths different sales order items have taken from end to end.

A variant is a specific path through the process, a set of activities that was taken in a specific order. Usually, several sales order items have followed the same variant.

Note: If you click on the Variant KPI, the Variant attribute is selected in the Sales order items dashboard item.

Avg. throughput time end to end

The average throughput time for the end to end process, from creating a sales order to the actual payment for the related invoice.

Note: If you click on the Avg. throughput time end to end KPI, the Avg. throughput time end to end metric is selected in the Sales order items dashboard item.

Sales orders

A total number of sales orders created during the selected period.

SO items

Total number of sales order items created during the selected period.

Note: If you click on the SO items KPI, the Number of items metric is selected in the Sales order items dashboard item.

Total value

Total value of the sales order items created during the selected period.

Note: If you click on the Total item value KPI, the Total item value metric is selected in the Sales order items dashboard item.

Sales order items

With the Sales order items dashboard item you can analyze the sales order items and throughput times in more detail.

You can select various different attributes of the sales order items and look into the Total item value, the Average item value or the Number of items regarding the selected attribute. See the illustration below.

The other metrics enable you to look into the average throughput time of the sales order items for the selected attribute:

  • of the end to end process,
  • from sales order item creation to post goods issue,
  • from sales order item creation to receive proof of delivery,
  • from sales order item creation to create accounting document.

See the illustration below.

Metrics

Below is a description of the metrics.

Metric

Description

Number of items

The number of unique sales order items.

Avg. item value

The average sales order item value for the selected attribute.

Total item value

The sum of the sales order item values for the selected attribute.

Avg. throughput time end-to-end

The average throughput time for the end to end process, from creating a sales order to the actual payment for the related invoice.

Avg. throughput time SO item creation to post goods issue

The average throughput time from creating the sales order item to the actual post of the goods.

Note: The throughput time is calculated only if both dates are available and occurred in the right order.

Avg. throughput time SO item creation to receive proof of delivery

The average throughput time from creating the sales order item to the actual delivery of the goods.

**

Note: **The throughput time is calculated only if both dates are available and occurred in the right order.

Avg. throughput time sales order item creation to create accounting document

The average throughput time from creating the sales order item to the actual creation of the accounting document.

Note: The throughput time is calculated only if both dates are available and occurred in the right order.

The selected metric applies to all the different dashboard elements of the Analysis - End to end dashboard. If you select a different metric in the Sales order items dashboard element, the other charts will also change accordingly.

Note:

Metrics in the Order-to-Cash Discovery Accelerator never take Sales order items with missing data into account when the metric is calculated.

For example, if a Sales order item does not have a value for the selected attribute and the metric calculates the average over this attribute, the Sales order item is not taken into account.

Submitting automation ideas

When you identify a bottleneck in the Order-to-Cash process while monitoring, for example when a manual activity takes a long time to be executed, you might want to send a request to automate the activity to UiPath Automation Hub. You can do this directly from the process graph. See Sending Automation Ideas to UiPath Automation Hub for more information.

Note: This function is only available if UiPath Process Mining is set up for integration with UiPath Automation Hub.
