Introduction

The information on dashboards can be exported to use for reporting. The Export functionality is available in all dashboard charts.

Export

Most charts in apps and discovery accelerators can be exported in the file types listed below.

Type	Extension	Description
image	.PNG	The exported .PNG file contains an image of the bar chart with all the relevant filters and the title (if selected).
document	.PDF	Gives the same result as the export of an image. For PDF’s you also have the option to select the page layout Landscape or Portrait.
table	.XLSX	The .XLSX file contains the chart as a table. This table has the same grouping as the chart itself. The exported table enables you to keep working with the data outside of the application or use it as input for other programs.
data	.CSV or .XLSX	The resulting exported file is an .XLSX or .CSV file. It contains all the data records used in the dashboard item. For each record, the value for each column chosen is shown. Note: The XLSX option is only enabled for smaller data selections.

Exporting a chart

Follow these steps to export a chart.

Step	Action
1	Go to the chart you want to export.
2	Click on the Export icon.
3	In the Export as field select the desired type.
4	Select the other relevant check boxes as desired.
5	Click on EXPORT.

Exporting a Process graph

In addition to the above describes export types, a process graph can also be exported as a BusinessProcessModelNotation (BPMN) file.

Context menu

By right-clicking on a white space within the process graph chart, the context menu is opened containing the following Export... option. This can be used as an alternative action for theExport icon.

Note: A suitable application that supports BPMN is required to open the file.
