Reply to Email activity that replies to an email message in Apple Mail.

Description

Replies to an email message.

This activity composes and sends a reply to an existing email message in Apple Mail. You can reply to all original recipients, add extra recipients and attachments, and choose to save the reply as a draft instead of sending it immediately. The email message must be one returned by the For Each Email activity.

Note:

This activity only runs on macOS systems with the Apple Mail application installed and configured.

Configuration

You can configure the activity and its properties as follows:

• Email - The email message to reply to. Must be an email returned by the For Each Email activity.
• Body - The body of the reply message.
• Subject - The new subject of the reply. If left blank, the original subject is used.
• Attachment(s) - The list of files to attach to the reply. Select Builder to use the Collection Builder, or select Use Existing to use a VB expression.

• Save as draft - If selected, the reply is saved as a draft instead of being sent. By default, the reply is saved as a draft.
• Reply to all - If selected, the reply is sent to all recipients of the original email.

• To - A collection of email addresses for additional primary recipients of the reply.
• CC - A collection of email addresses for additional secondary recipients of the reply.
• BCC - A collection of email addresses for additional hidden recipients of the reply.
