Description

Copies a file on Google Drive.

Scopes

This activity requires the following scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata

OR

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive

OR

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.photos.readonly

Configuration

In the Body of the Activity
  • File to copy - The file to be copied. This property supports String variables and string formatted values. When entering your value, use the exact File ID, or the output property variable from a previous Find Files And Folders or Create Folder activity.
  • Destination folder - The parent folder under which the copy will be made. This property supports String variables and string formatted values. When entering your value, use the exact Folder ID, or the output property variable from a previous Find Files And Folders or Create Folder activity. If not specified, the file is copied to the parent folder of the original file.
  • New file name - The new name of the file that you want to copy. This property supports String variables and string formatted values.
  • New file ID - The ID of destination folder, or root.
Properties Panel

Common

  • ContinueOnError - If set, the remaining activities are executed if the current activity fails. This field supports Boolean values.
  • DisplayName - The display name of the activity. This property supports String variables and string formatted values.

Input

  • FileID - See File to copy in the body of the activity.
  • NewFileName - See New file name in the body of the activity.
  • NewParentID - See Destination folder in the body of the activity.

Misc

  • Private - If selected, the values of variables and arguments are no longer logged at Verbose level. This field supports Boolean values.

Options

  • SupportsTeamDrives - If selected, the activity can operate with files hosted on Team Drives. This field supports Boolean values.

Output

  • FileID - See New file ID in the body of the activity.
