Format Slide Content

UiPath.Presentation.Activities.FormatSlideContent

Modifies content in a slide. This activity must be added inside a Use PowerPoint Presentation activity.

Configuring the Activity

In the Body of the Activity

  • Presentation - The presentation in which to modify content. In StudioX, click Plus plus buttonplus button on the right side of the field, and then select the presentation file in which to modify content.
  • Slide number - The slide in which to modify content. In StudioX, click Plus plus buttonplus button on the right side of the field, then select the slide in which to modify content.
    Alternatively, use one of the other options in the menu to indicate the slide number:
    • Data from the Project Notebook or a parent Excel file. For example, select a cell in an Excel file to use the value in that cell.
    • Ask when run - Prompt for the slide number when the project is executed.
    • Number - Enter the slide number.
    • Use Saved Value - Select a numeric value that you previously saved for later use in the project.
    • Open in Advanced Editor - Enter a VB expression.
  • Content to modify - The name of the slide element to be modified. In StudioX, click Plus plus buttonplus button on the right side of the field, then select the presentation file, the slide, and then select the name of the element to be modified.
    Alternatively, use one of the other options in the menu to indicate the layout name:
    • Data from the Project Notebook, a parent Excel file or Outlook account. For example, select a cell in an Excel file to use the value in that cell.
    • Ask when run - Prompt for the name when the project is executed.
    • Paste from clipboard - Paste a value that you previously copied to the clipboard in the project.
    • Text - Enter the name in the Text Builder.
    • Use Saved Value - Select a value that you previously saved for later use in the project.
    • Open in Advanced Editor - Enter a VB expression.
  • Add Modification - Select an activity depending on what modification you want to make:
    • Bring to front/Send to back - Brings a shape to the front or sends it to the back in the visual hierarchy.
    • Set Font Size - Sets the font size of the text.

  • Action - Indicates the action to be taken on the shape's visual order:
    • Bring to front
    • Send to back

Set Font Size Options

  • Font size - Sets the font size of the text. In StudioX, click Plus plus buttonplus button on the right side of the field, then select a font size from the presentation file.
    Alternatively, use one of the other options in the menu to indicate the font size:
    • Data from the Project Notebook or a parent Excel file. For example, select a cell in an Excel file to use the value in that cell.
    • Ask when run - Prompt for the font size when the project is executed.
    • Number - Enter the font size.
    • Use Saved Value - Select a numeric value that you previously saved for later use in the project.
    • Open in Advanced Editor - Enter a VB expression.

Common

  • DisplayName - The name displayed for the activity in the Designer panel.

Misc

  • Private - If selected, the data used in the activity is not logged by Studio or StudioX.
