About the UiPath GenAI Activities connector

The UiPath GenAI Activities connector lets you work directly with UiPath-managed large language models (LLMs) from a variety of third parties.

The connector provides access to UiPath AI Services such as the AI Trust Layer, which lets you use the most popular LLMs without managing separate subscriptions. It also includes quality-optimized, prompt-based activities with easy-to-use inputs and outputs in Studio and Apps build experiences.

How it works

The UiPath GenAI Activities package consists of activities that interact directly with a variety of internal UiPath services used to normalize and transform requests sent to model providers. No subscription to a third-party service is required to establish a connection. However, you must still create and maintain the connection for use in UiPath® Studio and Studio Web workflows.

Learn more about the activities from the UiPath GenAI Activities package page.

Refer to GenAI Activities feature availability to learn which activities are available in Automation Cloud Dedicated.

Authentication

The connector accesses internal UiPath® GenAI services, available to all platform users. No subscription to external services is needed to use the UiPath GenAI Activities connector.

You can add and manage connections, but there are no parameters required for authentication.

Limitations

GenAI activities in Public Sector environments are supported only on the following Studio versions:

  • 2024.10.17 or later (2024.10.x)
  • 2025.10.1 or later (2025.10.x)
  • STS 26.0.179 or later
  • How it works
  • Authentication
  • Limitations
