Managing Notifications
Subscribing to Events
Subscribing to an Event- Go to the Notifications settings page.
- Switch to the Connections tab.
- Select the checkbox that is inline with the event that you want to subscribe to. For example, select the checkbox that is inline with Connection Broken, to subscribe to notifications when connection is broken. If you want to receive both in-app and email notifications on an event, then select both checkboxes under Automation Cloud and Email.
Subscribing to all Events
- Go to the Notifications settings page.
- Go to the Connections tab.
- Select the Automation Cloud or Email checkbox to subscribe to notifications on all events.
Subscribing external AD group to events
You can subscribe an entire external AD group to events for email notifications by following the steps below. Only notifications about events that impact user groups are sent to external AD groups.
Prerequisites: For users from the external AD group to receive email notifications, perform the following steps:
- Access the external AD user group account in Outlook.
- Navigate to Group Settings > Edit Group.
- Select Let people outside the organization email the group.
- In the organization Preferences, go to the Notification settings page.
- Switch to Manage Notification.
- Select Add user group to add an external AD group as a notification profile.
- Search the name of the external AD group you added inside your tenant and select it.
- Select Edit.
- Go to a service tab (Connections, for example), and choose the default events the external group should be subscribed to.
- Select the checkboxes under Automation Cloud or Email to choose the default events the users in the external group are subscribed to.
- After you finish the configuration, select Save.
Unsubscribing from Events
To stop receiving notifications, you can unsubscribe from certain events. You can unsubscribe from events from the Notifications panel or from the Notifications settings page.
Unsubscribing from the Notifications panel:
- Access the Notifications panel.
- Go to a notification and select the More Options
menu.
- Select Unsubscribe from event. For example, select Unsubscribe from Action assigned.
Unsubscribing from the Notification settings page:
- Go to the Notification settings page.
- Go to the Connections tab.
- Deselect the checkbox that is inline with the event that you want to unsubscribe
from. For example, deselect the checkbox that is inline with Connection
Broken, to unsubscribe from notifications about broken connections.
If you want to unsubscribe from both in-app and email notifications for an event, then deselect both checkboxes under Automation Cloud and Email.
- Go to the Notifications settings page.
- Go to Connections tab.
- Deselect the Automation Cloud or Email checkbox to unsubscribe from notifications about all events.
Deleting Notifications
You can delete notifications only individually. To delete a notification:
- Go to a notification from the Notifications panel and click the More
Options
menu.
- Click Delete.
Clicking Delete permanently deletes a notification.
Marking all Notifications as Read
To mark all notifications as read:
- In the Notifications panel, click the More Options
menu and then click Mark all as read.
Clearing all Notifications
To clear all notifications from the Notifications panel:
- In the Notifications panel, click the More Options
menu and then click Clear all.
