Freshservice authentication
Prerequisites
To create a connection to your Freshservice instance, you have to provide the following credentials:
- Domain
- API key
Retrieving the domain
When you create a support portal with Freshdesk, you're assigned a _domain_.freshdesk.com
URL by default. Copy either the _domain_
part from your URL or the entire URL and paste it into its corresponding field when establishing a connection.
Retrieving the API Key
To retrieve your API key you have to:

Sign in to your Support Portal.

Click on your profile picture in the top right corner and go to Profile settings.

Your API key is available under the Delegate Approvals section.

Add the Freshservice connection
To create a connection to your Freshservice instance, you need to perform the following steps:
- Select Integration Service from Automation Cloud.

From the Connectors list, select Freshservice.
You can also use the search bar to narrow down the connector.
- Select the Add connection button.

Enter your domain and your API key and select Connect.
- Your connection has been added.
