SAP Build Process Automation authentication

Prerequisites

To be able to create a connection, you need to provide the following parameters and credentials:

• Region
• Domain
• Client ID
• Client secret

Retrieve your region and romain

To retrieve your region and domain, follow the steps below:

1. From your BTP Cockpit Subaccount Overview, navigate to the General tab.
2. Navigate to Region and Subdomain to find the credentials.

Retrieve your client ID and client secret

The SAP Build Process Automation connector relies on Oauth Client Credentials for authentication.

To retrieve your Client ID and Client secret, follow the steps below:

1. From your BTP Cockpit Instances and Subscriptions view, navigate to the appropriate SAP Build Process Automation instance.
2. You may create or re-use an existing Service Key where you will find the "clientid" and "clientsecret" properties. The URL should also confirm the Region (e.g. including "us10" for the US region).

Add the SAP Build Process Automation connection

To create a connection to your SAP Build Process Automation instance, you need to perform the following steps:

1. Select Integration Service from Automation Cloud.
2. From the Connectors list, select SAP Build Process Automation. You can also use the search bar to narrow down the connector.
3. Select the Add connection button.
4. Select your Region, then enter your Domain, your Client ID, your Client Secret, and select Connect.
