Salesforce Authentication

When establishing the connection to your Salesforce instance, you will have to provide the following information:

  • Username - The username shared by the Salesforce sales team to access your account.
  • Password - The password shared by the Salesforce sales team to access your account.

  • To authenticate on Salesforce, you must have the Salesforce Sales Cloud Enterprise edition or Professional edition with API support.

  • To set up a new application in Salesforce Sales Cloud, you must have Administrator privileges. Contact your system administrator if you do not have those privileges.

For more information on Salesforce, refer to Salesforce Documentation

UiPath supports events via polling for Salesforce Sales Cloud.

Our current support for Salesforce Events includes listening for only Creating, Updating, and Deleting objects in Salesforce. For example, when a new account is created, your application can receive a notification regarding the creation of the account.
