The Microsoft Office 365 Files activities provide methods to search for files, move and copy files hosted on OneDrive and SharePoint.

Activity
Description

Creates a copy of a file or folder and adds it to the same or a new parent folder. After the copied item is added to the destination, the activity returns a DriveItem object that you can use as an input variable in subsequent activities.

Creates a new folder in a specified parent directory. After the folder is created, the activity returns a DriveItem object that you can use as an input variable in subsequent activities.

Deletes a specified item (e.g., file, folder) in your OneDrive or SharePoint site.

Downloads a specified file from your OneDrive or SharePoint site to a local location.

Converts a OneDrive or SharePoint file to a PDF and saves it to a local location.

Finds the files, metadata, and/or contents that match the values of your search parameters. By default, this activity searches your connected OneDrive account. You have the option to change your search location to a SharePoint site.

After the activity performs the search, it returns the matching DriveItem objects that you can use as input variables in subsequent activities; almost all of the Excel and Files activities require this as an input variable.

Gets the metadata of a specified item with a known ID. To get the ID of the item, you can use an activity that outputs a DriveItem object (e.g., Find Files and Folders).

After the activity locates the item, it gets and returns its metadata in a new DriveItem object that you can use in subsequent activities.

Moves a specified file or folder to a new parent folder with the option to change its name.

After the item is moved to the Destination, the activity returns a DriveItem object that you can use as an input variable in subsequent activities.

Uploads a local file to your OneDrive or SharePoint site.
