Task Mining troubleshooting

Task Mining initialization issue in Kerberos

Description

The Task Mining service may fail to initialize in Kerberos environments due to:

• A missing kerberos-discoverygroup-user-keytab secret.
• The discoverygroup app not being included in the enabledApps parameter of the IntegratedAuth app.

Solution

To address the issue, take the following steps:

1. Create the missing kerberos-discoverygroup-user-keytab secret. You can duplicate an existing keytab secret and name the new one as kerberos-discoverygroup-user-keytab.
2. Add discoverygroup to the enabledApps parameter in the IntegratedAuth app configuration.

Once you make these changes, restart the relevant services and confirm that Task Mining initializes successfully.
