Process modeling is the starting point for building an orchestrated, automation-ready process in Maestro.
It’s where you translate real-world workflows into a visual, executable model using BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Model and Notation).
From the Modeling canvas in Maestro you can design your process, define participants, and prepare it for execution and monitoring.
Every model you create here forms the blueprint for the automation logic that will later run, scale, and optimize across your organization.
Use Process modeling to:
- Design visually. Capture steps, decisions, and handoffs between people, robots, and agents.
- Collaborate confidently. Use BPMN standards so both business and technical users share the same language.
- Validate early. Run model validation and simulation before you invest time in implementation.
- Lay the foundation. Each model becomes an executable process that you can later extend with automation, AI, and rules.
Process modeling gives you clarity before execution, helping teams align on what the process should do before you configure how it runs.
