Tip:

This page provides instructions on downloading the files to the home directory of the current user. If you want to change the directory, make sure to provide the path to download using the -O parameter.

installUiPathAS.sh

installUiPathAS.sh is an interactive installer wizard that you can use to accept the installation configuration and start the installation.

installUiPathAS.sh is required for both online and offline installation profiles and is used during a fresh installation and for adding a new node to the cluster.

sf-installer.zip

sf-installer.zip is an installation package that contains the main installation and supporting scripts.

If you choose the offline installation profile, you must download sf-installer.zip. If you opt for the online installation profile, sf-installer.zip is automatically downloaded by the interactive installation wizard.

The sf-installer.zip file is required during installation, upgrade, cluster restore in the event of disaster, and while adding new node to existing cluster.

sf.tar.gz

sf.tar.gz contains the container images and deployment manifests of UiPath Shared Capabilities and UiPath Product. The bundle is approximately 25 GiB in size.

If you opt for the offline installation profile, you must download sf.tar.gz. If you choose the online installation profile, Kubernetes will pull all the container images and deployment manifests directly from the container registry hosted in UiPath servers.

sf.tar.gz is required during installation and upgrade only on server node when using internal Docker registry.

sf-infra.tar.gz

sf-infra.tar.gz contains Kubernetes packages and other tools needed to install the cluster infrastructure.

If you choose the offline installation profile, you must download sf-infra.tar.gz. If you opt for the online installation profile, the installer will pull these tools directly from UiPath trusted RPM registries.
