Download File from Record Field (New)

Description

Downloads a file from a specified file of an entity record.

If no file is available in the specified entity record, the activity returns no output.

This activity is equivalent to the activity of the same name in the pre 24.10 Data Service activities package.

Properties

• Data Service connection - Select the Data Service connection you established in Integration Service. Access the dropdown menu to select, add, or manage connections.

• Entity - Select the Data Service entity you want to use with the activity. This property supports entities imported from Data Service, or TypeArgument for ImportedEntities type input.
• Field - Select the file type field of the entity record from which you want to download the file. This property supports String type input.
• Record Id - Select the ID of the entity record from which you want to download the file. You can find the ID on the Data Service > Entity > Data page. This property supports GUID type input.
• File Path - Specify the file path on the local machine where you want to download the file. This property supports String type input.

Manage Properties

Use the Manage Properties wizard to configure or use any of the object's standard or custom fields. You can select fields to add them to the activity canvas. The added standard or custom fields are available in the Properties panel (in Studio Desktop) or under Show additional properties (in Studio Web).

• Downloaded File Resource - Outputs the downloaded file as a resource. This property supports IResource type input.
