About the Microsoft Azure AI Foundry activities

Azure Foundry AI agents are autonomous AI software designed to achieve specific goals by making decisions, using tools, and integrating with external knowledge and services. These agents serve as the foundation for goal-oriented automation, moving beyond simple assistants to act independently to complete complex tasks.

This integration is only available for agentic processes created in UiPath Maestro^TM, using the Start and Wait for External Agent task.

工作方式

To enable automation between UiPath and Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, the activities create an authenticated connection using the UiPath connector for Microsoft Azure AI Foundry. For details, refer to the Microsoft Azure AI Foundry authentication page.
