Sample Azure infrastructure setup

The following table lists the steps you need to take to configure the infrastructure in Azure for both single-node evaluation and multi-node HA-ready production profiles.

Step 1: Configure a VM node	Step 1.1: Create the VM <details>: Basics; Configure Disks; Networking Step 1.2: Configure the VM: Configure the DNS of the VM; Partitioning the disk; Additional networking configuration for multi-node	Configure one node	Configure a minimum of 3 nodes. Follow additional instructions specific to multi-node.	Username and password used when creating the VM. FQDN of the first VM. For the single-node evaluation profile, provide this FQDN as the Cluster FQDN.

For multi-node, provide this FQDN as the Cluster FQDN.
Step 3: Configure Azure SQL		Required	Required	SQL Server FQDN and SQL Server credentials.
Step 4: Create an Azure storage account	You must create an Azure storage account if you opt for external objectstore.
Step 5: Configure the DNS	For production deployments: Configuring the DNS For test or evaluation deployments: Create a private DNS zone	Required	Required	See Configuring DNS ( or multi-node HA-ready production) for instructions.
Step 6: Install Automation Suite	At this point, configuration is complete, and you can install Automation Suite.
