Statuses
Once a connector has been submitted to the Marketplace, a status will be tied to the connector. This status will show in the Admin tab of the connector within the Integration Service connector catalog. The status will change based on user actions (like withdraw or archive) or action taken by the Marketplace team.
The connector has been submitted, but the Marketplace team has not yet started reviewing the connector. At this point, if you need to make updates or changes, the connector can be withdrawn from the Marketplace and resubmitted with the desired modifications.
Once the Marketplace team begins the review of the connector, the status will be moved to In review. The review process includes an evaluation on:
-
Quality Checks: To verify that all information has been filled out properly and the connector meets the Standards for Quality Content.
-
Security Checks: All components of the connector will be scanned to check for malware and viruses.
-
Functionality Checks: In this phase, the Publisher will showcase the functionalities of the Integration Services Connector in a demo. This way, it is demonstrated that the intended usage matches the connector and its activities as specified in the Description section.
Once a submission is In review, the submission cannot be Edited or Withdrawn.
If the Marketplace team finds an area of the submission that needs to be updated, the status will be moved to Needs update and the submitter will receive an email with feedback from the Marketplace team. Use the Withdraw submission button to withdraw the submission, make the necessary changes to the connector using Connector Builder, and then resubmit the connector.
Your previous form details will be pulled into the submission form so you don’t have to add these again.
Once the Marketplace team approves the submission, it will be published as a Marketplace listing and the status of Published will be reflected in the Integration Service catalog.
If you would like to remove your Connector from Marketplace, you can submit an Archival Request.
The status will show Published (archive requested) until the listing is archived and removed from Marketplace.
