Amazon Textract
Amazon Textract is a service that automatically extracts text and data from scanned documents. Amazon Textract goes beyond simple optical character recognition (OCR) to also identify the contents of fields in forms and information stored in tables.
Amazon Textract Activities Package 1.0.x has been deprecated. It's recommended that you replace projects that use version 1.0.x with version 2.0.0 or later.
Amazon Textract Activities Package 2.0.0 is not backward compatible with version 1.0.x (i.e., 2.0.0 was released as a new package and not a version update).

The Amazon Textract activities give you the ability to automate interactions with the Amazon Textract service. Using the Amazon Textract APIs, this activities package provides you with the following text and document analysis capabilities:
- Extract text from single and multipage documents
- Analyze documents to detect items such as key-value pairs, tables, and selection elements
- Get the status of a document analysis operation
