To become a Marketplace Vendor, you need to pass through a sequence of steps. These are split into 3 main phases:
The option of becoming a Vendor is available only for Company Admins. If the process is interrupted throughout Stripe onboarding, you can resume it at any time by clicking on the Become a Vendor option in the Marketplace menu and you will be redirected to Stripe to finalize the process.
- Access your account on the Marketplace.
- Hover the mouse over your Publisher Account icon displayed on the upper right corner of the homepage and click Become a Vendor.
A form will be displayed which will be partly pre-filled with your company’s information retrieved from the Company Profile, plus the following fields:
Vendor Contact Info: URL and email address - this information will be visible to all users.
- Vendor Admin Details - this information will be displayed only for UiPath Admins and is required only for validation purposes as part of the Become a Vendor process:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Job Title
- Business Email
- Phone Number
- After you provide all the information, click Submit.
Once the Vendor form is submitted, you will be redirected to Stripe, for the Express account setup.
During Stripe onboarding, you need to supply additional information and documents in order to pass Stripe’s KYC process. To gain a better understanding of the KYC requirements, please have a look at this article.
If you already have an existing Stripe account, then you can create a Marketplace account with the same e-mail address and become a Vendor.
In most cases, when a user creates a Stripe account on their own, it is a Standard one. To become a Vendor on the Marketplace, you need an Express account created and linked.
Therefore, if you already have a Stripe account created with the same e-mail address you used to create a Marketplace account and requested to become a Vendor, you will go through the Stripe Express account creation flow, and the resulting account will be a tenant which you can switch from your Stripe account dashboard.

After Stripe approves the Express account, UiPath Admins will be notified in order to perform the final checks before approving the Vendor profile on the Marketplace:
- form information accuracy
- qualified to do business with UiPath (Export Control legislation)
The entire process should take up to a few days (2-4).
Once approved, the Vendor profile will be created which allows making transactions on the Marketplace.
