Idea access and actions
Automation Hub User Guide

Idea access and actions
At the idea flow level, the third tab available is the Idea access, from where you can edit permissions of users for each page of the Automation Profile. This page has the following permissions:
- About (Edit)
- Cost Benefit Analysis (View)
- Cost Benefit Analysis (Edit)
- Documentation (Edit)
- Components (Edit)
- Collaborators (Edit)
- Advanced settings (Edit)
- Change Requests (Edit)
In the Roles page at the tenant level, you can find all the enabled roles and collaborator roles listed in the drop-down menu
for each permission. When you check a role in the Who can edit ideas in this flow permission within the idea flow Settings modal, the system automatically populates that role in each drop-down permission
on the Idea access page at the flow level. If you select a role from one of these permissions drop-down lists at the flow
level, the system ensures that this role appears in all corresponding permissions across every phase of the flow, except for
the Submission phase, on the Idea access tab.
Note: Each role that has a permission assigned at the flow level, needs to be removed first from the flow level, in order to check/clear
it granularly for a certain phase.
At the idea flow level, the fourth tab available is the Idea actions, from where you can see the default values set for the actions in the selected/edited phase and the roles that have access to those actions.
- Depending on the availability in the idea flow, you can select what roles have permissions to do the following actions:
- Jira connection
- View Jira ticket
- Start development in Studio
- Convert to a change request
- Publish to store
- Start development in Studio Web
- Change idea flow
- Select Save to continue or Cancel to discard any changes.
