The Process Repository is a dedicated area in Automation Hub for storing and managing business process documentation. Unlike the automation pipeline, which tracks ideas through discovery and implementation stages, the Process Repository is a governed reference space where business processes are documented for long-term visibility and oversight.
Business process entries in the repository can be linked to a Studio Web solution. When a link exists, the Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN) diagram from the Studio Web solution modelled in Maestro is displayed within the business process entry. All Automation Hub users by default can consult the current diagram directly in Automation Hub without switching to Maestro.
Users can also take advantage of existing Automation Hub functionality within the process repository, including defining the applications used in each process, assigning collaborators and their roles, and accessing the documentation repository at the process level.
The repository is populated through submissions made under the Business Process submission type. The following table summarizes how the three submission types differ in purpose and destination.

Submitted business processes are visible to all users. Editing is restricted to users with the Account Owner, Process Owner, Process Submitter, System Admin, or Program Manager role.
For submission, you need the Authorized User role or higher.
Business processes submitted to the repository are organized through categories. Categories reflect your organization's taxonomy and allow process owners and reviewers to navigate and filter the repository according to your organizational structure. Each business process submission is assigned to a category during the submission flow.

The BPMN diagram linked from a solution in Studio Web is available in read-only mode within the process repository. You must do all modifications to the diagram in Studio Web. If a solution in Studio Web contains more than one BPMN diagram, only the first diagram is displayed.
