Get Transitions

UiPath.Jira.Activities.GetTransitions

The Get Transitions activity uses the Jira API to get transitions (Transitions) for a given issue (Issue Key).

The activity outputs an array of transition objects (Transitions).

How it works

The following steps are an example of how the activity works from design time (i.e., the activity dependencies and input/output properties) to run time.

  1. Complete the Setup steps.
  2. Add the Jira Scope activity to your project.
  3. Add the Get Issue Links activity inside the Jira Scope activity.
  4. Create and enter a String and an Issue Key variable for the Input properties.
  5. Create and enter a Transition[] and an Transitions variable for the Output properties.

Properties

Common
  • Continue On Error - This field only supports boolean values (True, False). The default value in this field is False. As a result, if this field is blank and an error is thrown, the execution of the project stops. If the value is set to True, the execution of the project continues regardless of any error.
  • DisplayName - The display name of the activity. This field supports only strings or String variables.
Input
  • Issue Key - The Issue Key for the Issue Links you want to return. This field supports only strings or String variables.
Misc
  • Private - If selected, the values of variables and arguments are no longer logged at Verbose level.
Options
  • Filter - A string on which to filter the Transitions. If provided, only transitions whose names contain the supplied filter are returned.
Output
  • Transitions - An array of Transition objects. This field supports only Transition[] variables.
