Download Attachment

UiPath.Jira.Activities.DownloadAttachment

The Download Attachment activity uses the the Jira API to download an attachment (Attachment).

The activity downloads an attachment (Attachment) to a local folder (Save To).

How it works

The following steps and message sequence diagram is an example of how the activity works from design time (i.e., the activity dependencies and input/output properties) to run time.

  1. Complete the Setup steps.
  2. Add the Jira Scope activity to your project.
  3. Add the Download Attachment activity inside the Jira Scope activity.
  4. Create and enter an Attachment and an Attachment variable for the Input properties.
  5. Create and enter a String and an Save To variable for the Input properties.

Properties

Common
  • Continue On Error - This field only supports boolean values (True, False). The default value in this field is False. As a result, if this field is blank and an error is thrown, the execution of the project stops. If the value is set to True, the execution of the project continues regardless of any error.
  • DisplayName - The display name of the activity. This field supports only Strings or String variables.
Input
  • Attachment - The attachment that you wish to download. Enter an Attachment or Attachment variable.
  • Save To - The local folder where you wish to have the attachments saved to. This field supports only Strings or String variables. If left blank, the project directory is used. If a directory path is entered, the file is saved under that directory. If a file of the same name exists, it will be overwritten. To rename the downloaded file enter a file path for filename in this field.
Misc
  • Private - If selected, the values of variables and arguments are no longer logged at Verbose level.
