The UiPath Activities Guide

Query View Data

The Query View Data activity uses the Tableau API to get View data rendered as a CSV and download it to a folder you choose and/or retain the data in an in memory DataTable (View Data) variable.

How it works

The following steps are an example of how the activity works from design time (i.e., the activity dependencies and input/output properties) to run time.

  1. Complete the Setup steps.
  2. Add the Tableau Scope] activity to your project.
  3. Add the Query View Data activity inside the Tableau Scope activity.
  4. Create an enter values for the Input properties.
  5. Enter values for the Output properties.
  6. Create and enter an ResponseStatus variable for the Output property.
