Renaming documents

Rename a file attached to a requirement, test case, or test set.

Change the display name of a file in the Documents tab of a requirement, test case, or test set. The file itself stays attached to the same item.

Steps

1. Open your project in Test Manager.
2. Navigate to your artefact (Requirement, Test Case, Test Set).
3. Select an entry in the list to open it.
4. Go to the Documents tab.
5. Select a file and select Rename.
6. Enter a new name and select OK to confirm changes.

Result

The file displays the new name in the Documents tab.
