Disabling governance at project level
Disable testing process governance at project level in Test Manager to release all governed objects and void signatures.
When you disable governance at project level, all the governed objects are released, all existing signatures are voided, and all signatory records are removed from their assigned objects.
Prerequisites
To disable testing process governance, you must hold the Test Manager Administrator role, the Test Governance Administrator role, the Project Owner role or be assigned the Test Process Governance permission.
Steps
- Go to Settings.
- Select the Governance tab.
- Toggle off Enable Governance.
Disabling governance at project level does not affect the test case logs of previously governed test cases. Once a test case log is governed, it becomes a disjoint entity from its parent test case, so its governance must be disabled directly on the log if that is what you intend; see Disabling governance at test case log level. This project-level toggle only affects test cases and future logs.
Result
Governance is disabled at the project level. All governed objects are released, all existing signatures are voided, and all signatory records are removed from their assigned objects.
