Step 4: Managing tests via Azure DevOps
Managing test cases through Azure DevOps while running test automation in Test Cloud and pushing execution results back to Azure test plans.
You can use Test Cloud for test automation and Azure DevOps for test management. Test cases pushed from Azure DevOps to Test Manager run through Orchestrator, and the results are pushed back to your Azure test plans.
Steps
- In the integration configuration, select Manage Tests with Azure DevOps. For details, see Configure an Azure DevOps Connection.
- Add your test cases to your Azure test plans. Any Azure work item of type Test Case is pushed to Test Manager, and the results are pushed back to the test plans. For details, see Create test plans and test suites.
- Automate the test cases through Studio.
- Execute your test cases using Orchestrator.
Result
The execution results are pushed to your Azure test plans.
