Executing automated test sets
Trigger an automated test set execution via Orchestrator using the Execute Automated option.
Run the automated test cases of a test set through Orchestrator, with the Execute Automated option or from inside an open test set by selecting Execute and then Automated.
Context
- Test cases that cannot be executed are skipped during execution through Orchestrator.
- Test cases that are not executed generate test case logs with no result.
Steps
- Open your project in Test Manager and then navigate to Test Sets.
- Select a test set and select the vertical ellipsis.
- Select Execute Automated.
Tip:
Alternatively, open the test set, select Execute, and then select Automated.
Result
The automated test execution is triggered via Orchestrator and the results are recorded in the Execution section of the project.
