Managing user and group access
How users and groups gain access to your testing projects and which actions their roles permit.
Control who can open your testing projects and what they can do there, through tenant roles, project roles, and project assignments.
For more information, refer to the following topics:
- Assigning tenant roles to users and groups
- Assigning users and groups to projects
- Assigning project roles to users and groups
- Editing individual users and groups
For an overview of the role types, see Managing users and groups.
Context
If you have a legacy project, you might need to enable access management to start assigning users and groups to your project.
Prerequisites
- The Test Manager service is enabled in the tenant where you want to use it, and licenses are allocated to your users. For more information, see Enabling Test Manager for your tenant.
