VLookup Workbook (preview)

VLookup Workbook activity that finds a value in the first column of a table range using the Excel VLOOKUP function and returns a value from another column.

Beschreibung

Looks up a value in the first column of a table range and returns a value from the column that you specify, using the Excel VLOOKUP function. This is the cross-platform equivalent of the VLookup Windows activity.

This activity does not support .xls files.

• DisplayName - The name displayed for the activity in the Designer panel.

Eingabe

Optionen

• Exact Match - Select this option for an exact match. Clear it for an approximate match against sorted data, which finds the nearest value that is less than or equal to the lookup value. By default, this option is selected.
• Kennwort – Das Kennwort der Arbeitsmappe, falls erforderlich

Ausgabe

• Result - The value that the activity found, or null if the lookup value is not found. You can store the value in a variable of any type. The value is converted if the type is different.

• Workbook - The existing workbook to use instead of a file path.

Hinweise

• For an approximate match, the first column of the table range must be sorted in ascending order, as in the Excel VLOOKUP function.
• Table Range must refer to the sheet in SheetName. A range that includes a sheet name, such as Sheet2!A1:C100, is not supported and causes an error.
• A whole-column or whole-row range, such as A:C, is limited to the used range of the sheet.
• The activity fails with an error if Table Range is empty, if Column Index is less than 1 or greater than the number of columns in the range, or if Lookup Value is null.
