Testing Process Governance

Testing Process Governance in Test Manager for applying review and sign-off workflows over test cases and test case logs.

テスト プロセスのガバナンスは、テスト プロセスにガバナンス レイヤーを必要とするユーザーをサポートする、一連のガバナンスとコンプライアンス機能を提供します。テスト プロセスのガバナンスが有効化されているテスト オブジェクトは、そのオブジェクトに割り当てられている承認者がレビューし、サインオフする必要があります。

Testing Process Governance is available in Test Manager only when delivered via Test Cloud.

Governance applies to two kinds of testing objects:

• Test cases are governed directly, using the steps described in this section.
• Test case logs are governed automatically at creation, by inheriting whether their parent test case is governed at that time, along with the parent's approvers, but not the parent's approval state.

A test case log created from a governed test case always starts in In Work, regardless of whether the parent test case is In Work, In Review, or Signed at that moment.

A test case log can also be governed or un-governed directly at the log level afterward. Once governed, a log becomes a disjoint entity from its parent test case, so disabling governance on the parent test case afterward has no effect on logs already created. テスト プロセスのガバナンスは、テスト オブジェクトをレビュー ステージを経て管理することで品質を確保するメカニズムを提供することを目的としています。

1. 作業中:この状態にあるオブジェクトは変更可能であり、まだレビューの対象ではありません。
2. レビュー中: 作業が完了したら、オブジェクトを手動でこのステートに移行して、レビュー プロセスが開始される可能性があることを示すことができます。この状態のオブジェクトはロックされます。承認者は、これらのオブジェクトにコメント、署名、または却下できます。

This workflow applies to test cases. Test case logs use the same three states and the same signing, voiding, and commenting mechanics, but a governed test case log always starts in the In Work state, and its exit path from Signed differs from that of a test case. 承認者

承認者は、承認およびサインオフのために管理されたオブジェクトに割り当てられたユーザーです。承認者は、レコードに署名するために特別な権限を必要としません。ただし、管理されたテスト オブジェクトに承認者を割り当てることができるのは、 Test Process Governance ロールまたは Test Process Governance 権限を持つユーザーだけです。

承認者は、直接割り当てるか、グループ割り当てによって、オブジェクトに追加できます。後者の場合、割り当てられたグループのすべてのメンバーがレコードに署名できます。

署名者レコード

署名者レコードは、管理対象オブジェクトに必要な署名です。ユーザーまたはグループの割り当ては、署名者レコードを表します。

Test case logs inherit all approvers from the parent test case at the time the log is created, and approvers can then be added to or removed from the log independently; see Managing approvers for governed test case logs. Approvers referencing a deleted user or group are flagged as such wherever they appear.

Governance and Governed

ガバナンス (プロセス) – 統制 (属性)

A test case log is governed automatically if its parent test case is governed at the time the log is created. Governance can also be toggled directly on the test case log afterward, independently of the parent test case; see Enabling governance at test case log level and Disabling governance at test case log level.

承認ステート

承認ステートは、承認プロセス中のオブジェクトのステータス ( 作業中 – レビュー中 – 署名済み) を示します。

• 作業中: オブジェクトはまだ作業中で、レビューの準備ができていません。
• レビュー中: オブジェクトをレビューできるか、レビューが進行中です。レビュー中は、オブジェクトがロックされます。
• 署名済み: オブジェクトはすべての承認者によってサインオフされました。割り当てられたすべてのユーザー (承認者) によってオブジェクトが署名されていない場合でも、オブジェクトは [レビュー中 ] ステータスで表示されます。

テスト プロセスのガバナンス - 権限

Test Process Governance 権限は、既定で Project Owner ロール、Test Manager Administrator ロール、および Test Governance Administrator ロールに割り当てられます。Test Process のガバナンス権限は、タスク レベルの権限です。

テスト プロセスのガバナンス - 通知

管理対象オブジェクトのステートが作業中からレビュー中に変わると、割り当てられたすべての承認者にアプリ内通知と、アクセス可能なディープ リンクが記載されたメールが送信されます。ユーザーがグループに属していて、ユーザーとグループの両方が承認者として追加されている場合、そのユーザーに送信されるレビュー通知は 1 つだけです。

• アプリ内ガバナンスの通知: [ 通知 ] パネルを展開し、リンクを選択して、確認が必要なオブジェクトに移動します。
• ガバナンスのメール通知: メール通知を開き、管理対象オブジェクトの詳細を確認して、[クリックして確認] を選択します。

For test case logs specifically, this notification is sent individually to each assigned reviewer, with the message: "Test result {test execution name}-{test case log name} is ready for review."
