Overview

UiPath Templates

The Insights homepage displays all available dashboards to which the user has access. By default, all users have access to the Robots and Machines,Processes,Queues, and Attended Reporting Templates that are included with the product. The Business ROI and Business ROI Queues templates will be locked unless the administrator has added data to the ROI dataset, and the appropriate permissions are granted to a user. Each dashboard can be copied and customized, as well as downloaded in various formats.

See Templates for additional details.

My Dashboards

Dashboards that you create from scratch or copy from the templates or the Tenant tab will appear in the My Dashboards tab.

See Dashboards for more information.

Tenant

The Tenant tab is where you can copy dashboards from My Dashboards and share them with everyone who has access to Insights on the respective tenant. Viewers only have view access to any dashboards shared here, and Designers can make a local copy of any dashboards shared to Tenant.

Note: You can use the search bar to find templates or specific dashboards you have created.

Data retention policy

Working with processes, jobs, or queues generates large amounts of data, which may crowd your UiPath Insights database rapidly. A retention policy is put in place to help you free up the database in an organized manner.

What is a retention policy? It is an agreement to ensure built-in data off-loading capabilities, by setting an action to remove data from your database after a period of time. What to expect? Due to a lighter database, your cloud Insights performs better.

Insights has a two year data retention by default and isn't affected by UiPath Orchestrator retention time. You can extend the data retention policy in order to satisfy compliance mandates and run dashboards on more historical data if needed.

The data retention period depends on the platform tier you are using. For example, you can get up to 5 years of data retention if you are using the Advanced tier.

Note: Specific data cannot be deleted, and data retention policies cannot be set for individual levels such as tenants or folders. It's important to note that data retention can only be set at the organization level.

If you want to upgrade your platform tier, contact your UiPath account team. For more information on platform tiers, check the Licensing page.
