Automation Hub Reusable Components

Overview

The Automation Hub Reusable Components dashboard provides a summarized perspective on how users contribute to Automation Hub with reusable components and how these snippets of code are used to accelerate the time to delivery for the automation ideas.

Prerequisites

Enable Insights connection
Have content in Automation Hub related to reusable components. Otherwise the dashboard shows empty tiles.

Permissions

In order to view the Automation Hub templates, you need Viewer role in Insights.
In order to explore the Automation Hub templates, copy them, you need Designer and ROI Editor role in Insights.

Filters

Filter	Description
Component Type	Connector, Custom Activity, Dashboard, Machine Learning Model, Snippet, Solution, Workflow Template. Component types
Version Status	The status of the version of the component, depending on where it is in its life-cycle.
Business Area	The level 1 category the reusable component is referencing.
Application Used	The application(s) referenced by the reusable component.
Creation Date	The date when the first version of the reusable component was created in Automation Hub.

Metrics

Tile	Metrics	Description
Submitted Components	The number of reusable components submitted in Automation Hub, all time, no matter their current status. Not impacted by the Version Status filter.	Get a glimpse on the size of the reusable components collection that was gathered with the help of the users in Automation Hub.
Components In Review	The number of reusable components that are still waiting to be published. Focused only on version statuses "Submitted" or "In Review". Not impacted by the Version Status filter.	Identify bottlenecks into curating the components early on.
Published Components	How many reusable components are available to used by the developers right now. Focused only on version status "Published". Not impacted by the Version Status filter.	A rich and relevant collection accelerates the time to delivery.
Downloads	The number of times the users downloaded a reusable component. Use the Version Status filter for deep diving into various statuses.	Indicates the discoverability and the relevance of the published reusable components for the potential consumers of the components.
Average Review	Average review of the Reusable Components that have at least one review. Use the Version Status filter for deep diving into various statuses.	Indicates the perception the users have on the value brought by the reusable components that they downloaded.
Component Authors	Count of Automation Hub users who submitted at least one reusable component. Use the Version Status filter for deep diving into various statuses.	Identify the top contributors, engage with them to reward, replicate the success among other users.
Distribution of Components by Type	The breakdown of components by type of component. Use the Version Status filter for deep diving into various statuses.	Identify the types of reusable components that are most frequently submitted. Educate users about the other types.
Distribution of Components by Business Areas	The breakdown of components by selected Business Area (level 1 category). A component can reference several Business Areas. Use the Version Status filter for deep diving into various statuses.	Identify the level 1 categories that have the richest collection of reusable components.
Submitted Components Trend	Displays how many reusable components were submitted every month, no matter their current status. The chart takes into account just the submission of the first version of the component. Not impacted by the Version Status filter.	Identify whether there is a healthy pipeline of reusable components being submitted in Automation Hub.
Top 10 Applications Used in Components	The most used applications in components. A component can reference several applications. Use the Version Status filter for deep diving into various statuses.	Identify the applications for which reusable components exist.
Top 10 Components Used In Automations	Displaying the Reusable Components that were referenced in at least one automation idea. Ideas in the Archived, Rejected, Duplicate, Cancelled or Draft statuses are excluded. Use the Version Status filter for deep diving into various statuses.	Understand the discoverability, how easy it is for the collaborators to reference them in the ideas.
Top 10 Automations Using Components	Displaying the automation ideas which are using at least one reusable component. Ideas in statuses Archived, Rejected, Duplicate, Cancelled and Draft are excluded. Use the Version Status filter for deep diving into various statuses.	Understand the impact of the reusable components on the automation program.
Best Rated Components	Displaying the Reusable Components which have at least one review. Use the Version Status filter for deep diving into various statuses.	Discover and reward, get inspiration from the most used components.
