Automation Hub Ideas

Overview

Based on the activity performed in Automation Hub, the main template offers a high-level view on the automation program, starting with a top layer with key information and benefits and other categories (Ideas and Users).

Prerequisites

Enable Insights connection

Permissions

• In order to view the Automation Hub templates, you need Viewer role in Insights.
• In order to explore the Automation Hub templates, copy them, you need Designer and ROI Editor role in Insights.

Filters

Filter	Description
Business Area	The level 1 category of an idea.
Category	The level 2 category of an idea (dependent on the selected Business Area).
Sub-Category	The level 3 category of an idea (dependent on the selected Category).
Idea Submission Date	Date when the idea was submitted for review.

Metrics

Top Dashboard

Tile	Description
Ideas Submitted	Total number of Ideas submitted. The following are filtered out: • Archived • Duplicated • Rejected • Cancelled
Pipeline - Estimated Hours saved per year	Estimated number of hours saved by the Automation Pipeline per year.
Pipeline - Estimated $ saved per year	Estimated amount of money (in dollars) saved by the Automation Pipeline per year.
Pipeline - Estimated FTEs saved per year	Estimated amount of Full Time Equivalent (FTE) saved by the Automation Pipeline per year.
Live Ideas	Total number of live ideas with one of the following status: • In Production • Hypercare
Live ideas - Estimated Hours saved per year	Estimated number of hours saved by live ideas per year.
Live ideas - Estimated $ saved per year	Estimated amount of money (in dollars) saved by live ideas per year.
Live ideas - Estimated FTEs saved per year	Estimated amount of Full Time Equivalent (FTE) saved by the live ideas per year.

Ideas

Tile	Description
Ideas by Business Areas	Total number of ideas distributed by the Category Level 1 (Business Area). Filtering out Archived, Cancelled, Rejected, Duplicated ideas.
Ideas by Submitter's Business Unit	Total number of ideas distributed by the submitter's business unit. Filtering out Archived, Cancelled, Rejected, Duplicated ideas.
Ideas by Idea Source	Total number of ideas distributed by the idea's source (Employee-driven, CoE-driven, Citizen Developer, Process Mining, Task Mining). Filtering out Archived, Cancelled, Rejected, Duplicated ideas.
Ideas distribution by Phase and Status	Total number of ideas distributed by the current phase and status. Filtering out Archived, Cancelled, Rejected, Duplicated ideas.

Users

Tile	Description
Invited Users	Total number of users invited to join Automation Hub, with the status "Active" or "Pending".
Active Users	Total number of users invited to join Automation Hub, who accepted the invite and connected in the product.
Idea Submitters	Total number of unique submitters. Filtering out unique submitters for Archived, Cancelled, Rejected, Duplicated ideas.
Collaborators	Total number of unique collaborators.
Top 15 Users	A list with the top 15 active users that submitted automation ideas, sorted descending by the number of ideas. Additional statistics of usage are available for each one around the number of collaborations, uploaded documents, uploaded reusable components, and followed automation ideas.
Users by Business Unit	Total number of users (with Status: pending or active) distributed by business unit.

Customizing Automation Hub Dashboards

You can copy the Automation Hub Ideas template to My Dashboard where you can configure filters and modify or rearrange tiles (see Create dashboard).
