Create string parameters for a test case, with naming rules and default value and hint fields.

Sie können Parameter für jeden Testfall innerhalb eines Testsatzes erstellen. Sie können eine maximale Anzahl von 250 Parametern hinzufügen, von denen jeder im Kontext eines Testfalls einen eindeutigen Namen haben muss.

Parameters can only be of type String. Parameters that you create in the Parameters tab of a test case can be used only for manual test executions.

Schritte

1. Öffnen Sie den Testfall, dem Sie Parameter hinzufügen möchten.
2. Gehen Sie zur Registerkarte PARAMETERS.
3. Select Create Parameter and fill in the following fields:
   • Name: Give the parameter a unique name. When you name the parameter, you can use letters, numbers, spaces, and the following characters: -, _, ,, and .. For example, name the parameter as adminName.
   • Default value: Enter the default value of the parameter. Parameters can only be of type String. This field is not mandatory, so if you leave it empty, the parameter is an empty string. For example, set the default value to JohnDoe.
   • Hint: Offer additional information about the information that the parameter holds. For example, add the following hint: The supervisor of the organization.
4. Wählen Sie Erstellen , um den Parameter zu erstellen.

Ergebnis

Der Parameter wird erstellt und ist auf der Registerkarte „Parameter“ des Testfalls verfügbar. Bei manuellen Ausführungen können Sie in manuellen Schritten mithilfe doppelter geschweifter Klammern auf den Parameter verweisen. Der Wert wird dann zur Runtime angewendet.
