The UiPath Process Mining Guide

Enabling the service in Automation Cloud

Introduction

To start using the Process Mining in UiPath Automation Cloud, you must enable the Process Mining service on a selected cloud tenant.

Below is an overview of the minimum requirements for working with Process Mining in UiPath Automation Cloud.

Prerequisites for enabling the Process Mining service

Access to Automation Cloud

To start using the Process Mining service you need an Automation Cloud account. See About Automation Cloud for more details.

📘

Note:

See Automation Cloud Software Requirements page for the prerequisites that apply to all UiPath Automation Cloud services.

Tenants and services

📘

Note:

It is recommended to add a separate tenant for your Process Mining instance as it is easier to manipulate and supervise after setting up and launching Process Mining process apps.
See Adding tenants.

The Process Mining service that allows you to manage and set up process apps; must be enabled on each of the tenants where the Process Mining service will be used.

See About Tenants page for more details about Automation Cloud tenants.

📘

Note:

Process Mining is a tenant-level service signifying that each tenant's data is segregated. This means that you need to enable the service for each of the tenants where this is needed.

See Managing services for a detailed description on how to enable a service in Automation Cloud.

When accessing the newly created/updated tenant, the Process Mining service is displayed on the left-hand side panel. If you access the tenant list the services are displayed in the corresponding column for the tenant. See the illustration below for an example.
