Process Mining
Salesforce
By default, OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code is used as the authentication type.
-
If the process requires an additional package as specified in the Extraction section of the app template documention, install in the source system before setting up the connection to Salesforce. For example, Salesforce - Configure Price Quote requires the CPQ package to be installed.
-
If you are extracting data that might exceed 100,000 rows for a table, make sure the user credentials have the View all Data permission in Salesforce or modify the extraction query to extract less data.
-
Configure the connection for Salesforce. Refer to Salesforce authentication in the UiPath Integration Service guide for more information.
Important:Salesforce authentication with Process Mining requires all permissions required for the UiPath for Salesforce connector. Refer to Permissions in the UiPath Integration Service guide for a list of required permissions.
-
After successful authentication, go back to the Process Mining webpage and select your connection.
-
Select Next.
The connection is established and the Extraction settings page is displayed.
-
If desired, change the start and end dates for the extraction period, or accept the default.
-
Based on your Salesforce instance, you may need to configure some additional parameters for the connection. If the parameters are enabled in your Salesforce org, select the applicable options in the Extraction settings page.
-
-
Select Next.
The Extraction tables page is displayed, showing the tables that will be extracted from Salesforce. By default, the required input tables defined for the app template are selected.
-
If desired, add additional tables for extraction.
-
Select Next.
