The Models page allows you to publish versions of your model, saving it in its current state.
As you continue to review messages and apply labels, the model version number will increase as the model retrains, but you can still view validation scores for the older published versions or use them for streams.
When setting up streams, you can select a specific model version, which gives you control over the precision and recall statistics that you require for that stream. By using a specific published version, you can ensure that the precision and recall associated with a label for that model do not change due to later training of more recent model versions.
Moreover, the Models page allows you to tag a published model version as Live or Staging if you are deploying your models downstream.
